Visit from May to September for dry, cool weather (15C to 31C).
Carry plenty of fuel, water and spares (including tyres), drive to the conditions, especially on dirt road detours, be croc aware at all times (freshies do bite), and light campfires only in designated fireplaces and always extinguish after use.
National Park entry: Pay entry fees of $13 per park or buy a Holiday Pass (valid 4 weeks, $46) or Annual All Parks Pass (12 months, $92 or $58 for concession cardholders) from any WA visitor information centre.
