DESIGNED BY EMILY MCQUEEN GENERAL PRODUCTION-LINE METHOD 1 Select 10 wood-grain frames and back them with ivory card. 2 Spread them out on your work surface and place a chipboard die-cut motif in the centre of each one. Some frames have die-cut words, so match these with corresponding images – eg match the camera with ‘smile’ and the telephone with ‘hello’. 3 Add smaller chipboard die-cuts or eclectic buttons in coordinating colours to fill out the frames. 4 Cut 10, 130mm x 95mm panels of Oh Darling paper for the frames to sit on, and play around with the combinations until you are happy – remember they are double-sided! Happy Happy Birthday By Gayatri Murali METHOD 1 Stamp assorted My Favorite Things Blissful Butterflies diagonally on white card 100mm x 135mm using Memento Luxe dandelion, pear tart, pistachio, love letter, angel pink, rose bud, morocco, Bahama blue, lilac posies, nautical blue and gray flannel ink pads. 2 Die-cut My Favorite Things Die-namics ‘happy’ out of the middle of the panel then stamp the ‘happy’ sentiment above and below this with VersaColor black ink and layer it on folded white card 220mm x 140mm. 3 Die-cut four more sets out of white card, stack and glue the letters together with the stamped versions on top then add them back inside the negative spaces. Stamping Backgrounds

1 Rotate the stamp after each impression to give variation to the design. It will also give a more realistic appearance to nature-style images like feathers, leaves, flowers and butterflies. 2 Let the impressions overlap the edges of the cardstock rather than trying to squeeze them in – it will stop the background looking overcrowded. 3 To avoid awkward spacing when you get to the centre, start in the middle of the cardstock and work your way outwards. 4 If you want a certain area to be a focal point – like this embellished feather – start there then fill in the rest of the card. 5 When stamping and embossing with VersaMark ink, apply the powder after each impression, so you can see exactly where to stamp next. Speech Bubbles

Peekaboo By Therese Calvird Create your own negative speech bubble by die-cutting with an oval, then cutting a curved triangle at the bottom. 1. How long have you been cardmaking? I discovered scrapbooking in 2007 and was soon drawn to the wonderful craft of cardmaking after a visit to my local scrap shop. Die-cut Inlays

Colouring Inlays By Therese Calvird Give die-cut inlays depth by cutting them out of white card and shading them with markers. METHOD 1 Die-cut three Memory Box Aubrey Bloom stems out of white card and colour them using Copic markers. 2 Die-cut two stems out of Scrapbook Boutique powder card 110mm x 75mm – one on each side as shown. 3 Turn the powder card over, apply sticky tape across these gaps, then flip it back over and insert the coloured stems. 4 Die-cut a third stem out of this panel, overlapping the left-hand one, add tape to the back and insert the last coloured piece.
