‘What if we get married right after the christening?’ Growing up, most girls dream of a big, white wedding. A massive, gorgeous gown, and a posh do in a hotel, with lots of snazzy decorations everywhere...
Something that would take months, maybe years, to plan.
Not me, though.
‘When we get married, I fancy something small, like a register office,’ I was always telling my bloke Paul, 27.
We’d been an item since April 2013, but had known each other for ages before, since secondary school.
Soon after moving in together in June 2013, I fell pregnant.
And in April 2014, I gave birth to our little boy, Darragh.
Me and Paul got to planning his christening at Bride Street Church in Wexford.
It was booked in for 13 September…
