There's nothing I love more on a Sunday afternoon than bingo!
On 7 September last year, I was heading to the bingo hall in Greenock, as usual.
But, that morning, I'd woken up with a sore back and a pain in my shoulder.
Strange , I thought.
That wasn't all.
‘I'm roasting,' I told my friends Christine, 55, Seonaid, 54, and Helen, 57, on the way there. ‘But it's freezing!' said Christine. By 12.45pm, at the bingo hall, I was dizzy, drenched in sweat and had chest pain. ‘Girls, I feel sick,' I murmured.
They sent for the first-aider, Lynn Boyle, who calmly checked me over.
‘You're having a heart attack,' she said, calling an ambulance.
Terrified, I was rushed to Inverclyde Royal Hospital, given a stomach injection and…
