Catching the side of my tongue with a tooth, I yelped. ‘Gah! That hurts,’ I said, putting a hand over my mouth. It was October 2018, and I’d just discovered I had an ulcer.
No bigger than a grain of rice, I figured it was nothing to worry about, and slapped on a bit of ulcer cream.
But as the weeks went by, the blighter wouldn’t budge.
