After spending two long years in prison, in January this year Ilya Averyanov was found not guilty on all counts. A free man again, Averyanov expressed his relief at the jury’s verdict – but also expressed his wishes to now help others who find themselves in a situation similar to his. Speaking to reporters, he told of his plans to engage in human-rights activities.
