Taking on the editorship of Classic Jaguar at the start of 2019 was a challenge I couldn’t resist. My predecessor, Ian Seabrook, had done a great job of launching a magazine specifically for enthusiasts of older Jaguars – from classic XKs to ’60s saloons, sensational E-Types to ‘Series’ XJs. After 15 issues, however, Ian decided to focus on his Hubnut activities and his highly popular YouTube channel, and so passed the Classic Jaguar baton on to me. And now, by sheer coincidence, this is my 15th issue as editor… and I’m also stepping aside to focus on other activities in the classic car world.
