Old Stones roll again
New album release collects band's 60s radio sessions. A collection of rarely heard radio recordings from the Rolling Stones’ formative years is released on December 1 via Polydor. All the material on The Rolling Stones – On Air was recorded by the line-up of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Brian Jones and Bill Wyman between 1963 and 1965, and was originally broadcast on bygone BBC shows including Saturday Club and Top Gear, Rhythm And Blues and The Joe Loss Pop Show. A version of the band’s first ever single, Come On, released in June 1963, recorded for Saturday Club, is available now on digital and streaming services.
