My husband, Joe, and I met and fell in love at a small Christian college in Nampa, Idaho. Because of the joy-filled memories we made there, as well as the beautiful mountain ranges, climate and people, we were determined to return once we finished our training and education.
In the heat of summer 2000, with two young sons in tow, we found our way home to southern Idaho, and we haven’t regretted our choice since.
Surrounded by ranches and farms, our plot of nearly 8 acres is within 15 minutes of town—not too far from church, neighbors or Joe’s work. Country life appealed to us, but we still wanted the creature comforts of a grocery store and neighbors nearby!
