It’s hard to believe that 30 years have passed since what is arguably the greatest Tour de France of all time. Three decades on, those eight seconds between winner and loser represent the lowest and most famous winning margin in the history of the race.
After 3,285 kilometres and 22 stages, those eight seconds separated two men.
