▪ I had a near-fatal Covid-19 infection, spent a month in isolation, 10 days on a ventilator in an induced coma, had kidney failure, and lost two stones. But then I learnt to walk in April, turbo in May, did my first ride of 25 miles in June, and in the week of my 68th birthday, 68 miles in beautiful East Yorkshire. Life is sweet. Les Barratt
