Dressed in plastic ponchos in the tribune on Pont Alexandre III, Anna Henderson’s nearest and dearest turned up in droves to support her on her Olympic debut. For Henderson’s boyfriend, Olly Moors, the day had been a “very nerve-wracking” one. “I was more nervous about the conditions, to be honest,” he told CW. I just said: ‘Go out. Stay calm, stay composed, stay relaxed.’ She did that, and it paid off.”
