There are many things that impress me about diesel enthusiasts. Primarily, it is the sense of community shared by all diesel fans. There is such commonality in the respect of this performance platform. It’s literally the machinery that brings folks together.
This is very evident at diesel events. Diesel fans gather to celebrate performance, witness failure, and witness triumph. We race, we dyno, we build it up, we break it, we build it again. You get the sense that everyone has that passion. And yes, there are brand allegiances and different levels of participation at these events.
