One online wag observed that Capcom’s solution to the Dante problem – series fans really didn’t like Ninja Theory’s interpretation of DMC’s star – was to design the new one as a combination of the Japanese and UK Dantes, and thus please no one. Weirdly, though, that isn’t even Dante in the trailer; it’s Nero, joint protagonist of DMC4, who these days is running a demon-hunting business out of his Transit van. We’ve all been there.
