If videogames have their own version of heaven, it’s The Zone, the bodiless nirvana of focus where all earthly concerns melt away. Neon White, a game set in the actual afterlife, is all about taking you there. You can race through each of its levels in a minute or two (less if you’re good), but for that time they demand absolute focus: every step must be perfectly placed, every weapon and enemy used to push you forward faster.
