Think twice, Tokyo
This issue’s isiZulu word is idolobha. Idolobha is a city or town. The word comes from the Afrikaans “dorp”. However, because isiZulu traditionally does not use the letter “r”, it could not be idorobha. That said, modern isiZulu-speakers do use the “r”, so many people do call it idorobha.
While I have never been to Tokyo, it seems like a fascinating idolobha, and I hope to visit it someday. I swear it’s not to purchase “used” underwear from vending machines. It won’t be a Tokyo Sexual tour. Wait, did someone say Tokyo Sexwale?
