OK, in the beginning, there was black. And you would have to work hard to find a color worse than black, if your intent is to blend in and pass un-noticed. Black is the only dye that works in type III hard coat anodizing, so if you want anodized colors you have to go with Type II. Which isn’t bad, it just isn’t mil-spec. Or, you can use paint, or Cerakote, or other coatings. The first thing people notice about the Desert Dirt Color is “It is so bright.” Well, yes, in a gun store.
