SYDNEY’S Randwick Council has been offering kids and families a marine and coastal discovery program since 2006. It’s currently run three times a year during summer, autumn and spring school holidays and aims to encourage discovery of the area’s wonderful marine and coastal environment. Activities range across Clovelly, Coogee, Maroubra and Malabar beaches, La Perouse and Botany Bay. Activities include rockpool rambles, snorkelling, rip and tide talks, sea-kayaking, boat trips and sustainable fishing clinics.
