It had single mums, badass movie heroines, wine facts and tattoo enthusiasts. It had relatable, cheeky, slightly swear-y first-person articles. It had fashion and craft and politics and travel and food and music. It had the kinds of stories that were missing from the glossy mags of the day.
Now, 20 years later, we’re still keeping the legacy started by Lara and Lou alive – and it’s all thanks to our readers.
