When the BMW Group revived the Mini marque just after the turn of the century, it stuck to the world-renowned three-door hatchback body style. But when the second-generation model rolled off the production line just over a decade ago, the company started introducing a slew of new models to bolster the original offering, including a six-door station wagon complete with two barn doors comprising the tailgate (Clubman), a roadster, a convertible, an SUV coupe (Paceman) and the regular SUV (Countryman).
Given the worldwide interest in SUVs , the Countryman is probably one of the smarter decisions made by the BMW board, but what’s this one all about I hear you ask?
