Laminate flooring is easy to care for, and today’s options are more durable than the laminate of the past. To remove dust, dirt and grit, vacuum it at least once a week with the bare-floor attachment. If you have only an upright vacuum, switch off the rotating brush. Wipe up spills and stains promptly. Brad Montague first realized how much kids could teach us about joy and living in the moment in 2012, when his Web series, Kid President, went viral. These days when I go to work I feel like I’m going into battle. I try to make sure to be hydrated, to be rested, to be ready. Once you go in there, you don’t really know when you’re going to get a chance to pause.
