Anti-Gun Bills Introduced In Hawaii
Several new anti-gun pieces of legislation have been introduced in Hawaii to kick off the new year. A couple of these new bills predominantly target trigger modifications and other parts and accessories designed to increase rate of fire, while others are more far reaching.
The bills include:
Senate Bill 2046: This legislation is similar to that introduced at the federal level by U.S. Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA). It essentially criminalizes owning, manufacturing, possessing, selling, bartering, trading, gifting, transferring or acquiring a firearm accessory or other device, part or combination of parts designed to or that functions in a way to accelerate the firing rate of a semi-auto firearm.
