Singer Dua Lipa is “on cloud nine” after being nominated for three Brits, the UK music industry’s premier awards.
Dua, 28, (above) who also has roles in Barbie and the new spy film Argylle, has been shortlisted for Artist of the Year, Pop Act and Song of the Year, and will perform at the March ceremony, too.
She’ll be competing against Raye, who made Brits history with a record-breaking seven nominations, including Artist of the Year and Mastercard Album of the Year.
The 26-year-old Prada star told fans: “This time a year ago, as far as the industry was concerned, I was down and out.” She added that it was “incredible” to be up for seven Brits and said: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
