REVIEWED HERE IN 65in guise, but also available in 55in, 75in and 86in configs, LG's NANO906 is a direct-lit LED display that predates the Mini LED backlight models previewed at CES 2021, but still offers a forward-leading specification – including two 4K/120-enabled HDMI inputs, Dolby Vision HDR playback, and LG's slick WebOS UI. And while this 65-incher commanded a £1,500 ticket last Summer, it's now selling for about £1,000. Tempted?
The design is rather anonymous, the surrounding micro-bezel a dark grey plastic, sat on two edge-mounted feet. Downfiring stereo speakers offer a fairly perfunctory audio performance.
From the box, the default picture is Eco – we’d recommend immediately switching to Standard. Other options include Cinema, Sports, HDR Effect (for 'upscaling' of SDR content), Filmmaker Mode, and ISF settings.
