TWENTY YEARS IS a good innings for a piece of consumer electronics. Some gizmos arrive amidst a whirlwind of hype, only to be a distant memory within half a decade (remember Sony's UMD? Last month, Sky launched Sky Glass (see p24), a TV with integrated Sky software functionality that delivers content via a network connection rather than satellite. So far, so cool.
