Priced a certainly-not-budget £1,499, this projector joins the brand’s X series, alongside the earlier X3000i 4K model [HCC #332] and the Full HD (with HDR) X1300i, selling for £1,999 and £1,299 respectively. Somewhere along the way the 'i' suffix has been replaced by a 'G' (no prizes for guessing what it might stand for).
Like its sibling projectors, the X300G boasts an LED light source, here claiming a lifespan of 20,000 hours.
