The flora and fauna of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa’s garden province, are a far cry from Hong Kong's subtropical offerings. However, fledgling brand Halsted Design seems destined to introduce them to our design vernacular. Established in 2013 by Fée Halsted, the founder of esteemed ceramics brand Ardmore Ceramic Art, alongside entrepreneur Fleur Heyns and Fée’s son Jon Berning, Halsted Design was born out of the desire to exhibit original African artworks and prints in the home.
