Paint me a picture Q Despite my best efforts, my painted upcycled furniture never looks quite right, and often ends up clumpy, stained or peeling. What am I doing wrong? A VICTORIA SAYS: The key is sanding it back to the original wood and using a good quality primer and brush. Of that, 42% is thought to be unwanted furniture and over half of that could be reused. That’s not good.
