READERS’ BEATERS
We received many more Readers’ Rides than we had room for in the May issue, including Readers Beaters, so we thought you might like to see some more of ’em. Before you think otherwise, “beater” is used as a term of affection. We’re not talking about slow, unsafe piles of junk, but rather hot rods that don’t put much stock in visuals. Consider this another call for your ragged, rusty and huddled wrecks, because we’d like to have a monthly beater in this section.
