Just three weeks after he being diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, Saved by the Bell star Dustin Diamond died in a Florida hospital on Feb. 1. He was 44. The cancer “managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution,” his rep, Roger Paul, said in a statement of his tragic final days. “Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain.
