NEW COMFORT Riffing on chrome-and-vinyl standards like corned-beef hash, meatloaf sandwiches, and loaded biscuits, this bright Fall Creek Place corner spot shows a playful side as it dishes out “second breakfast” and “betweensies” in addition to plain-old dinner. An early favorite, executive chef John Herndon’s take on chicken and waffles, featured custardy French toast topped with bits of roasted chicken, sauteed rapini, and spiced syrup.
