Good urological health is key to feeling well. Likewise, staying well can contribute to good urological health, says Dr. Chad Reichard, a physician with Urology of Indiana.
“These infections can spread through the bloodstream and have effects on overall health,” Reichard says. “Our overall health also affects our urologic health. For example, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity may increase the risk for stone formation.”
