One year has passed since the world learned of the tragic death of Denis Ten on July 19, 2018. Despite their grief, his parents, Oksana and Juri, have vowed to continue the projects their son had started, and to fulfill his dreams through the Denis Ten Foundation.
On the first anniversary of his death, his parents organized a memorial show to celebrate Ten’s life and legacy. They invited friends, skaters, coaches, skating officials and other guests to join their family in remembering their beloved son.
It was an emotional week in Almaty, Kazakhstan, as many gathered to celebrate and remember Denis Ten this past July. A year later, the wounds are still deep and the grief was palpable for those who had a strong connection to Ten during his lifetime.…
