One of the more intriguing motorcycles to break cover so far this year is the MV Agusta ‘F4Z’, which was officially unveiled this September. Based on MV’s high-performance F4 RR, the F4Z is the work of Italian carrozzeria Zagato; a coachbuilder and styling house known more for designing and producing sports cars and four-wheel concepts for the likes of Aston Martin, Lancia and Alfa Romeo. Spaniards love their motorcycles and the Delgado brothers – Carlos and Pablo – love their Kawasakis. Working together under the name of ‘Valtoron’, the brothers’ handiwork has already been featured in JUST BIKES previously (Issue #326). Royal Enfield have released two new colours for their 350 Classic – Chestnut and Mint – which are available now. Placement and application of the colours is designed to enhance the abundant chrome and retro lines of the 350 Classic, while the shades themselves are suitably ‘retro’. Mechanical specs are unaltered, which means a 346cc single cylinder 4 stroke twin-spark engine with electric start which delivers 19.8hp (14.7kW) at 5250rpm and 28Nm of torque at 4000rpm. A five speed constant mesh transmission, 35mm tele front forks, twin rear shocks with adjustable pre-load, 280mm front disc brake and rear drum are all standard. Troy Bayliss Events (TBE) has announced details of the 2016 Moto Expo Melbourne, which will take place at the Melbourne Showgrounds this 25-27 November. Australia’s biggest motorcycle show, the Melbourne Moto Expo covers over 30,000sqm of exhibition space, where dozens of the latest and greatest motorcycles will be on display, including some making their Australian debut. More than 100 exhibitors are already on board, covering not just motorcycles and scooters, but also ATVs, SxSs, JetSkis, trikes and sidecars, as well as a vast paddock of motorcycle products, accessories, riding gear and services. Black Dog Ride, the national suicide prevention charity founded by Steve Andrews, has announced details of their fourth annual motorcycle raffle, with a new BMW R nineT Scrambler up for grabs as the main prize. Valued at $21,480, the R nineT Scrambler was donated by BMW Motorrad Australia for the raffle, of which only 2,000 tickets will be released at $50 each. Proceeds from the raffle will go to the Online Crisis Support Chat Service offered by Lifeline Australia and Black Dog Ride’s own mental health awareness activities. Since 2009, the Black Dog Ride charity has raised more than $2 million for mental health support services nationwide.
