I ENTERED THE MARIO KART 8 DELUXE AU/NZ CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2023 BECAUSE... I was confident I had the skills to reach the top 12 required for the AU/NZ Championship. It was the first Nintendo AUNZ tournament of this scale for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so I didn’t want to miss it. IN THE LEAD UP TO THE AU/NZ FINAL… I didn’t want to put too much pressure on the Championship, and wanted the mindset of having fun.
