NewYork’s JFK Airport has revealed plans to launch an airport dedicated to travelling pets. “The Ark” terminal is due to open early next year and will accommodate the 70,000 pets and livestock that visit the airport each year. Estimated to cost $65 million, the 16,500 square metre building, will feature facilities for 186 cattle, 76 horses and up to 200 dogs and cats.The Ark will further include a dedicated centre for dogs and cats named Paradise 4 Paws featuring a bone-shaped splash pool, grooming service, jungle gym for cats, massage therapy, obedience training and suites with flat-screen televisions and webcams.The accommodation is expected to cost around $135 per night with John J.
