A library in New Zealand has installed a device to ensure peace and quiet amongst visitors. Following complaints of young people being noisy, the Papanui Library, located in the South Island city of Christchurch, launched a device that emits a high-frequency buzz heard only by people under the age of 25. The device is hoped to deter youths from loitering outside and intimidating other library visitors, but, has also received some criticism.
