“An Age of Discipline” is the name of Schiaparelli’s Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2022 collection. The head designer of the House, Daniel Roseberry said that the collection was conceived and created in April, “in a period of hope. Vaccines appeared, it was possible to travel again. Tiffany is well known for bringing the archived and unrealized designs of its iconic master jewellers to life. This time, they focused on the work of Jean Schlumberger, who was hired by Walter Hoving, the president of Tiffany & Co., to start designing for the company in 1956. Schlumberger’s Tiffany & Co. creations were noted for their fanciful take on natural forms. Sea creatures and other animals really inspired him. The 59th International Art Exhibition, The Milk Of Dreams, is taking place from 23 April to 27 November 2022 and is curated by Cecilia Alemani, who is the first Italian female curator in Biennale’s 127-year history.
