Puff and Pip Search for Home

Puff and Pip lived in a burrow in the middle of a field. The wind blew the dirt over their home in dry, dusty sheets. Pip, a prairie dog, dug tunnels. He loved to pop out of the burrow, race across the plains, and then dash back inside. Lenny and Grampy Slosh and Scrub

Grampy’s car, Old Blue, is so dirty Lenny can draw pictures on it with his finger. “Looks like Old Blue needs a bath,” Grampy says. “Can you help me?” First Lenny pulls some rags from the rag bag. Then Grampy fills a pail with soap and water. Slosh. Slosh. Lenny and Grampy dip their rags into the water and begin scrubbing. Lenny scrubs around and around, making sudsy circles. A Flower Family

Is your family ready to bloom? What You’ll Need: craft sticks green paint paintbrush pencil colorful construction paper scissors glue photos or small drawings of your loved ones: family members, special people, pets What to Do: 1. With a grownup, paint a craft stick green. This will be your flower stem. 2. While the craft stick dries, trace your hand on a piece of construction paper. Cut out your handprint.
