The new mini islands from luxury Italian kitchen brand Cesar pack a lot of punch for their size. It’s a neat proposition: each of the four islands have different characteristics and functions. If you want space for food prep, the N_Elle in Rosso Lepanto marble has a roomy sink and copper worktop for just that; the antique gold Maxima has functions for storage, cooking and rinsing, making it a bit of a workhorse. For where space really is at a premium, the Unit island has space in the middle for a stool or two, so you can use it as a desk or dining table as well as a cooking surface.
