Well, the holidays have come round fast, haven’t they?! Since 2021, I’ve been using the phrase ‘Christmas as cashmere’ to describe the mood we desire at this time of year, sensing we want luxury, warmth and an understated richness. But now, ‘Christmas as caipirinha’ feels more fitting – quite grown-up, a little unexpected, full of personality and, most importantly, fun. I mentioned this to Mrs Christmas herself, Anya Hindmarch, during our interview on page 40. The designer has taken the lead on festive style with her annual Grotto, and the concept of a cool, cocktail-inspired aesthetic resonated with her.
