In the twelve years since Rashida Coleman-Hale became a fabric designer, she’s worked with Cloud9 Fabrics, co-founded Cotton + Steel and landed as a designer at Ruby Star Society.
The roots of that first foray into the industry began in 2005, when Rashida blogged about the items she was handmaking for her newborn daughter. A magazine noticed this post and asked her to contribute to their issues, and soon after offered her a book deal, resulting in her first book, I Love Patchwork, being published in 2009.
