AT GOOGLE’S I/O conference in May, the tech giant introduced an iPhone and iPod touch version of Google Assistant, its take on virtual assistants like Siri. In a security warning posted on handbrake.fr, the development team behind the video transcoding tool revealed that downloads of version 1.0.7 between May 2 and May 6 are likely to be infected with a new variant of the OSX.PROTON Trojan – a piece of malware. This occurred after the real copy of the disk image on one of the site’s servers which delivered the software was replaced with one carrying the malware. At the time of writing, that server had been taken down and an investigation was underway to identify how the incident occurred. It happens when I make a search of any kind, such as for a person in my phone book, using the search feature in general, and trying to send a text. Apple has been reportedly working on a device that could help with the management of diabetes, but those reports were based on word of a secret team and a patent application. When you create an Apple ID, you select three security questions, such as the name of your best friend in school, and enter answers. These questions are useful for gaining access to your account if you forget your Apple ID’s password – go to iforgot.apple.com. You may also need to answer them to sign in at appleid.apple.com.
