What originally drew you to jewellery design? My father [André Messika] is a diamond dealer; I joined him in his business in 2000. "Making soy sauce is like taking care of a baby,” laughs Shirley Chia, the founder of Mu Artisan Soy Sauce. She is only half-joking but the intricate process really does take up to nine months and is laborious, requiring time, care and patience. With the vision of opening the first surplus food market and cafe locally, Wan started Graze Market with co-founder Shirley Chan to tackle issues related to food waste, hunger and sustainability.
