HEY man, the word “marijuana” is now like taboo.
You gotta like call it by its proper name, “cannabis”.
“Pot”, “weed”, “reefer” and “jazz cabbage” are also out, according to Huffington Post.
Cannabis has become respectable.
(They don’t mention, “dagga”, “zol”, “Durban poison”, “spliff” or ntsangwe.)

Businesses are openly trading in it.
Daniel Hayden, of Extractioneering, an Oregon-based brand says: “Any term applied to cannabis other than ‘cannabis’ is negligent and abusive behaviour that we abhor.
“The term ‘marijuana’ is a Mexican slur, although it is tolerated when combined with the word ‘medical’ for specific purposes (medical marijuana).”
