Jolene Marriah-Maharaj jolene.marriah@inl.co.za Three suspects allegedly linked to the murders of two brothers in 2019 have been arrested.
On June 1, KwaZulu-Natal police offered a R10 000 reward for anyone with information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspects, Cebo Gwala, 27, Zisholo Shozi, 36 and Khona Buthelezi, 38.
The trio were among five people who were charged with the murders of two brothers, Mthoko Ndimande, 22 and Sandile Ndimande, 29.
According to police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele, it is alleged that on August 28, 2019, at about 10pm, the two brothers were kidnapped from their home at Mkhizwana area under the Msunduzi policing precinct.
“Their bodies were found the following day with gunshot wounds in the Mngcweni area in Msunduzi.”
