On Thursday, the State closed its case in the murder trial, but the defence has been left troubled about why it left out two of its listed witnesses.
Shoba, a fired JSE analyst, is accused of ordering a hit on his heavily pregnant girlfriend, Pule. He faces counts of murder, alternatively conspiracy to commit murder, and defeating the ends of justice, in the South Gauteng High Court, Johannesburg.
Pule’s body was found hanging from a tree in a secluded area in Roodepoort. Muzikayise Malephane confessed to shooting and hanging her.
