IT’S the Great Rugby Fiesta tomorrow – the Currie Cup Final, coupled with the Argentina Test, coupled, in turn, with the Rugby Comrades Marathon.
The Rugby Comrades Marathon? Yes, it kicks off at 5pm tomorrow from various points, including the Pub With No Name, in Morningside.
Discussion of the Currie Cup final lasts until at least 8pm in the Pub With No Name, and elsewhere, after which participants – the Rugby Comrades – either stay on or go home to set their alarm clocks for 11pm.
Then the Test match, Boks versus Argentina, gets under way in far distant Santiago, the match, then discussion of it (plus, we hope, celebration), taking us through to 2.30 or 3am the next day.
