HOW IT WORKS The way a cactus XP farm works is simple: you get XP for smelting a cactus into green dye, and this XP is given when you remove the dye from a furnace. Cactuses can be grown and harvested automatically, so if we can get the cactus blocks into a furnace automatically, all you have to do is turn up and remove the dye for free XP! Here, we’ll show you how you can do that. SHROOMLIGHTS ABOUT SHROOMLIGHTS Found only in the Nether, shroomlights are a natural light source spawned from huge fungus – both the warped and crimson variants. They emit a light level of 15 – the highest possible – which is useful to know considering how dark it is in the Nether usually! Shroomlights can be mined directly, meaning you don’t have to craft them to place them as a light source, as you do with glowstone, which drops as glowstone dust. THREE-STOREY TOWNHOUSE Townhouse buildings are great for making cities, as you can place lots of them close together to create bags of space with a small footprint. Opposite, you can see two styles of townhouse. Both have three storeys, so they look relatively tall and thin compared to a normal house. Window boxes and shades are typical of townhouse designs, and expect to see a small yard instead of a garden. A mixture of brick styles makes the building look decorative without being too elaborate. GOATS This new mob has been added to the Java version after debuting in the experimental Bedrock version! You can find it hanging out on cliffs and mountaintops, where it can jump up extremely steep rockfaces with its powerful legs. As a result of this skill, it also takes a lot less fall damage! Goats spawn in groups of 2-3 and drop horns up to twice if they charge into a solid block. If killed, they drop mutton and experience. ABOUT HORSE ARMOUR Horse armour is a special type of protective gear worn by horses.
