WITCH POWER A brand new unit in the update is the witch, and they have plenty of tricks that might come in handy. The thing to most bear in mind is how they throw potions – and when they land, poison is applied to every unit in the surrounding area. BRICKS ABOUT BRICKS Bricks can be used to build houses and other more modern-looking buildings, owing to their 20th-century style appearance. They are stackable in the inventory in groups of 64 blocks, and have a high blast resistance of 6 and a hardness of 2, making them quick to place and rearrange – but also very effective in stopping explosions. Their blast resistance is the same as most stone-style blocks, and they can be crafted into some of the same variants, though note that the hardness is slightly higher than regular stone! BUILD SPECS Based around a command block, this structure will allow you to speed up time in the game. But there’s no reason we can’t make it look cool too! Start by using the block of your choice to build a 3x3 building that’s three blocks high. Leave the centre block empty. Take out two blocks on either side and put in stained glass panels – you need to see what’s going on outside. CHERRY GROVE ZOMBIE VILLAGE Seed: 4171459154851923056 Tested on Java 1.20 A weird and wonderful spawn point on this seed means the game opens up with you right in the middle of one of the prettiest zombie villages you’ll ever see. It’s tucked away in its own volcano-like ravine that sits right in the middle of a cherry grove. The next nearest plains village is at X=-304 Z=608 and there are several others not too far away. Around X=-670 Z=680, you’ll find some jagged peaks and an igloo, while a trek to X=1896 Z=472 will lead you to a woodland mansion.
